Nemoguardian is a self-hosted moderation template. The project is built so community owners can keep moderation data in their own infrastructure instead of sending every decision to a hosted moderation vendor.

Information Processed By Self-Hosted Deployments

Depending on how you configure the project, your deployment may process message text, channel identifiers, user identifiers, moderation verdicts, audit events, API key hashes, billing identifiers, and GPU-credit ledger events. Audit records are designed to redact common sensitive patterns while retaining hashes for case correlation.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. Nemoguardian does not store card numbers or raw payment credentials. Stripe may process payment details, billing contact details, fraud signals, and transaction records under Stripe's own terms and privacy practices.

Third-Party Services

Self-hosted operators may connect Discord, Vast.ai, NVIDIA, OpenRouter, Hugging Face, Google Drive, or other providers. Each provider handles data according to its own terms. Operators should review those terms before enabling a provider.

Data Sharing

The project does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with third-party providers only when an operator configures the project to call those providers, process payment, rent compute, or run model inference.

Security

Keep secrets out of public repositories, restrict moderator access, and run the project with the minimum permissions needed for each platform. The repository includes redaction, audit, and replay tools, but operators remain responsible for their own deployment security.
